About Central Abrasives

Please do not be fooled by our name. Central Abrasives, Inc. was founded in 1978. The company started as a catalog, brick and mortar power tool and accessory retailer. Through the years the company evolved into a distributor of various types of private label branded products manufactured by OEM suppliers. These products were then sold to manufacturers and machine shops located throughout the United States. In 2020 the company was sold to an investment group interested in growing and diversifying the company. Today Central Abrasives has offices in Illinois, California and Shenzhen, China. Central Abrasives has diversified into a company that manufactures and sources over 700 different products per year for their established customer base. Central Abrasives offers everything from abrasive products, drill bits, tap and dies, steel files, expander wheels, polishing and buffing pads, grinders, electric motors, numerous styles of nylon, brass and steel brushes along with almost any style and size of paint and utility brushes. Central Abrasives is an ISO 2001 / 2015 certified company that consistently gets recognized by their customers and continues to be recognized yearly for on time delivery of quality products.
